- This competition is strictly for Mosman Veterinary Hospital clients and their pets only.
- This competition is open to residents of Australia except for employees of Mosman Veterinary Hospital, their families, or anyone else professionally associated with the competition.
- All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Entrants under 18 years of age must first obtain the permission of their parent or guardian.
- Only photographs of cats and dogs are eligible for entry into this competition. To enter, entrants are required to ‘Like’ Mosman Veterinary Hospital’s Facebook & Instagram Page. They are then asked to send a photo of their pet, accompanied by 50 words or less explaining “why their pet should be the Face of Mosman Vet”, to faceofmosmanvet@gmail.com, with their full name, pets name and suburb.
- Competition opens Friday 4th September 2024 at 9am. All entries must be received by 5pm Friday 11th October 2024 when the competition will close.
- All photographs submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them and must not have been published elsewhere or have won a prize in any other photographic competition. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws.
- Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. However, in consideration of their providing the Competition, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual licence to Mosman Veterinary Hospital to feature any or all of the submitted images in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material connected to this competition.
- Only one entry per person. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Entries must not be sent through agencies or third parties.
- Six finalists (3 dogs and 3 cats) will be chosen and contacted ahead of the announcement of the winners.
- Two winning entries will be chosen from all valid entries received, one cat and one dog. The entries will be judged on both their picture and submitted written entry by a panel of expert judges (three Vets, one Nurse, one Veterinary Clinic Receptionist, and three industry representatives) as to which cat and which dog are deemed best to be representative ‘Faces’ of Mosman Veterinary Hospital. The panel’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
