With the spread of COVID-19, Mosman Vet Hospital has updated their appointment procedures in order to follow social distancing laws and to keep you and our staff safe at your pet’s next vet visit. We appreciate that this is a change to how things are normally run, but we hope to keep it as convenient and professional as possible.
The maximum number of clients we can hold in our waiting room is ONE. Due to the strict social distancing laws, and to keep our four square metres around staff and visitors, we will be conducting drop off consults for all booked visits.
For your pet’s next visit, please ring the doorbell outside when you arrive, or call us on (02) 9960 2856 as you approach the clinic.
One of our nurses will collect your pet from you, either from just outside the clinic, or from your car if that is easier.
Our vets will then examine your pet while you wait outside or in your car, and they’ll give you a call to discuss their findings and any treatments required.
We will then ask for payment over the phone, or we can bring our Eftpos machine outside for a card payment. Please note that we are no longer accepting cash payments. Our Eftpos machines are also wiped down with alcohol wipes after every use.
We thank each and every one of our clients and visitors for their patience during these dynamic and tumultuous times. These new measures are in place to both follow updated government laws around social distancing, and to ensure that we can treat and care for your pets during this crisis. We are doing this so we can stay open to continue to look after your pets at the high standard that you have come to expect of us.
